Our service techs are on hand Monday - Saturday, they provide maintenance on all of our rentals before they go out, and will come out and service any equipment during the rental. At Thompson Rentals, we accept walk-in rentals, and we offer an advance reservation system that will ensure you'll have just what you need when you need it. If you know ahead of time that you're looking to rent a piece of equipment during a specific time-frame, we always recommend that you call ahead to see if it's available and make a reservation when possible. This is one of the main things that sets us apart from the other rental centers in the area, many will not allow advanced reservations.

We also keep full-time service technicians on-staff at each of our locations. Our mechanics service each piece of rental equipment when it's returned in an effort to avoid customers facing issues with equipment on the job. Unfortunately, with used equipment there can always be unexpected problems. If you rent a piece of equipment and have a problem, our mechanics are here to fix it, helping to ensure you are able to get the job done. Many other rental centers bring in mechanics once a month to service their equipment, if you have a problem, they will likely tell you to return it rather than fixing it and helping you complete the job.

We are South Carolina's dealer for Mahindra tractors, Toro's Construction Equipment, Stihl products, ECHO Power Equipment, SCAG, Exmark, Wright zero-turn mowers and more. We have a large line of arborist supplies available in all 3 of our stores, bringing in arborists from all over South Carolina on a daily basis. We offer fast & easy financing options for all New Equipment.

We sell both new and used equipment, if you are looking for something specific, just ask. Our friendly staff will be glad to get you directly in contact with our sales representative. At Thompson's, you talk directly to one guy for help, quotes, and financing. You don't have to deal with a long chain of command waiting on answers.

Equipment Parts & Maintenance

We provide parts & warranty maintenance solutions for all of the equipment that we sell. We carry parts for Toro construction products, ECHO & Stihl power equipment, SCAG, Wright and Exmark zero-turn mowers, Honda & Kubota Engines, Bomag, Briggs & Stratton, and more. We try to have the most common parts available on our shelves.

We offer an online OEM Parts Catalog to make it easy for you to find and order your parts online. Available for in-store pickup only at this time. We recommend calling before you place your order to make sure the parts are in-stock. We keep a large inventory of parts for your convenience. If we don't have your parts in-stock, we are happy to order them for you.

Small Engine Repair in Northeast Columbia

Our Northeast location is the only location currently offering small engine repair. Call or stop by Thompson's Northeast and we will have your outdoor power equipment back up and running in no time!

Construction Equipment & So Much More...

Our team is committed to offering you the best service and selection to help you get the job done. Open at 7:30am Mon-Sat, our friendly staff is here to help you find the outdoor equipment that you need, when you need it.

Delivery and pick up services are available for an additional fee. Call immediately (one hour or less) if you have a problem with your rental equipment. If it's after hours or you are having trouble getting through, submit the problem online. We will either fix the issue, provide a like item if available, or adjust the rental charge. We keep full-time mechanics on staff to help with any problems our customers may face.
