Dakereon is in his fifth year at USC and third year working primarily at the wide receiver position. He has spent time at quarterback and has also been used as the deep returner on kickoffs, but he will start at WR in 2022.
Dakereon was named Duke's Mayo Bowl MVP after the Gamecock's 38-21 win over North Carolina in 2021. He was a 100% passer in the Duke's Mayo Bowl and is 2-0 as QB with 9 for 9 passing, 160 yards and 64 yards rushing. He is playmaker who is beyond talented with the ball in his hands. He is extremely smart, a hard worker and a positive role model.
He's a guy who’s got it done not only on the field but in the classroom. He's also won the Harold White GPA award and Unselfish Teammate award.
